ST. MICHAELS - Envision surroundings of color, beauty, and a little bit of whimsy. That is what you will experience when you enter Creative Xpressions. Whether it be an original painting, glassware, pottery or jewelry, it will be art that is one of a kind - created by extremely talented artisans from across the United States. On special occasions, there will be artisans on site, who will show you their unique talents and techniques.

We are also a complete resource for all your custom framing needs. Our use of original remarques on some pieces is what sets us apart from others. Unique use of mats and etchings also accent our framing. Whether you live regionally or in a distant locale, we promise to give you and your artwork the utmost care and consideration. Come in and see for yourself what we can create for you.

Here at Creative Xpressions, we regard picture framing as not just a craft, but an art. Our goal is to enhance the essential beauty of whatever is being framed and to uphold conservation standards to ensure the longevity of the piece. We enjoy being creative with what we do, and at the same time know how to use restraint to keep the framing from overwhelming the artwork.

If you’re coming to St. Michaels for a visit, please don’t hesitate to bring your framing projects with you – or ship them ahead, and design them while you’re here. And if you’d like to work with us, but aren’t planning a trip to St. Michaels, we can work on designs via email and digital photography. We are always open to expanding the possibilities of what can be done!

We hope you will visit us soon and see our everchanging selection of art and home decor items! Please feel free to call or email us with any questions you may have.

EASTON - The gallery, located at 16 Glenwood Ave., evolved from the art of Dr. Martha Whelan Krampf, who thinks of herself as a "psychotherapist who paints."

Krampf began painting her early memories of favorite places, settings and scenes, and gave many of her paintings a home in her office. People began to relate feelings of calmness when viewing these scenes, many times identifying the settings with their own past experiences. Wanting to surround themselves with their own favorite places, requests for commissioned paintings from family photos began. This sense of familiarity and comfort then became "Comfortable Art" and from that evolved Glenwood Gallerie. Glenwood Gallerie will offer local artists an opportunity to present their personal view and offerings in their paintings. The artists will offer commissions tailored to buyers' needs and wants.

Portfolios of artists will be available to ensure that your paintings are tailored especially for you.

Dr. Krampf's son, Daniel Krampf, joins her as curator of Glenwood Gallerie. The gallery manager is Linda Meade.

More than half the 60 or so artworks hanging in the Gregorio Gallery are photographs, some dating back 35 years, taken by owner Peter Gregorio. Exhibits in watercolor are by St. Michaels' artists Lee D'Zumura and Val Sunderland, and photographs by Ken Kauffman. Abstract oil paintings by Tracy Lambros, and blown glass by Jeffrey Elston, will follow in September. Gregorio also hopes to add sculpture to the mix.

    EASTON -
I believe art is a life long journey of passion, discovery and learning.

In September, 2010, I opened Studio B Gallery as a place where I create and show my oil paintings. Working from sketches, photos, and memory, I create works in still life, landscapes and as well as plein air paintings. Additionally, I accept private commissions.

Studio B Gallery is open when I am in-residence (by chance), or by appointment. I frequently travel around the country or internationally painting various locales to capture local colors and plein air settings.

If you are in Easton, look for the "Open" sign and come on in and lose yourself in the beauty of Studio B. Vistors are always welcome. Come see how I bring a blank canvas to life.
