We also should not forget eating! The shore is a delight to seafood lovers.

First Friday Gallery Walk September 5 - Stroll the brick paved streets of Historic Downtown Easton to browse an abundance of art galleries, antique and specialty shops and award-winning restaurants - all nestled among vintage Federal-style buildings. Enjoy live music or an outdoor concert before relaxing at one of the town`s charming inns. Many art and antiques venues, with styles spanning from classical to contemporary, welcome you with open doors at this delightful monthly event.
`HOW THE PLOT THICKENS`, September 13 - Mystery writer Austin Camacho will speak on "How the Plot Thickens" at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Waterview Grille at the Easton Club in Easton. The event is free.
ANNUAL OXFORD FERRY BOAT RACE
, September 20 - The Oxford Bellevue Ferry, believed to be the nation`s oldest privately operated ferry service will be pitted against paddle boats, restored boats from the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and work boats in the annual Oxford Ferry Boat Race and that night there will be a birthday-themed, lighted boat parade.
MARYLAND LIGHTHOUSE CHALLENGE, September 20 and 21 - 6th anniversary Lighthouse Challenge. Participate in Maryland’s Lighthouse Challenge by visiting lighthouses around the state. Stop by CBMM’s own Hooper Strait Lighthouse!
THE AVALON THEATRE - JUDY COLLINS, September 27 - One of our country`s most beautiful voices graces The Historic Avalon Theatre.
